How we helped home baristas pull a better shot — a coffee app that connects to your machine, diagnoses the extraction and tells you the one thing to change next.

Problem
Home espresso is mostly guesswork. A shot comes out sour or bitter, and the only feedback is a forum thread with ten conflicting answers. Pressensor had the data — grind, dose, time, pressure from the connected machine — but the app showed it as numbers, not advice. Pairing the device was a chore, and once paired, people didn't know what to do with what they saw.
Solution
We rebuilt the app around the moment after the shot. A Quick check reads the extraction and gives one plain verdict — under, over, or on point — with a single adjustment to try next time. Device pairing became a guided bottom sheet with an illustration of the machine itself, and the device screen was trimmed to what matters mid-brew. Less dashboard, more barista at your side.
